Your 5-day itinerary
After breakfast, visit Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace and the Gandhi Memorial Museum. Continue to Alagar Kovil, a famous temple near Madurai, and to Pazhamudircholai Murugan Temple, time permitting. Return to the hotel.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Rameshwaram through the scenic Pamban region, with views of Pamban Bridge, subject to safe and permitted access. Check in to the hotel, visit Ramanathaswamy Temple for darshan and explore Agni Theertham and the nearby temple surroundings.
Begin with optional early-morning temple rituals or darshan. Visit Panchamukhi Hanuman Temple and the former residence of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, if open. Continue to Dhanushkodi to see its scenic coastal landscape, historic ruins and beach viewpoints, then return to the hotel.
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Madurai. Transfer to Madurai Airport or Railway Station and depart with memories of your Tamil Nadu pilgrimage.
