Your 6-day itinerary
Rise early for the Tiger Hill sunrise over the Himalayas, weather permitting. Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, continue to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, the Japanese Peace Pagoda and a local tea garden. Enjoy shopping and leisure time in the evening.
After breakfast, check out and drive to Pelling, a beautiful hill destination in West Sikkim. On arrival, visit Pemayangtse Monastery and enjoy the peaceful mountain surroundings. Depending on arrival time, explore local viewpoints or relax at the hotel.
After breakfast, explore Pelling’s popular attractions: the Pelling Skywalk and Chenrezig Statue, Rabdentse Ruins and Khecheopalri Lake, subject to available time and route conditions. Later, drive to Gangtok and check in at the hotel. Enjoy an evening stroll along MG Marg.
After breakfast, head out to Tsomgo Lake, a high-altitude lake surrounded by mountains. Continue to Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir if permitted. Nathula Pass can be considered as an optional visit, subject to permit availability, weather and road conditions. Return to Gangtok in the evening.
After breakfast, subject to departure timing, check out from the hotel and transfer to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for your onward journey, with memories of Darjeeling, Pelling and Gangtok.
