Showers are more frequent on the central coast, and weather can occasionally affect cruises and sightseeing.
Cool in the north
Hanoi and Ha Long Bay can be cool and misty, so bring a jacket. Da Nang is milder.

A full travel day
Day 3 combines the Ha Long Bay disembarkation, a transfer to Hanoi and a flight to Da Nang, so it is a long day.
Your cruise plan
The Ha Long Bay cruise can be overnight or daytime. Cave visits and kayaking follow the cruise schedule, and the hotel nights change if you choose a daytime cruise.

The Hanoi to Da Nang flight and the Ba Na Hills tickets depend on your selected package. International flights are not included.

Vietnam visa or entry-related charges, where applicable, are not included, so please check the requirements before you travel.
