Your 7-day itinerary
Visit Nishat Bagh, the Garden of Bliss, and Shalimar Bagh, the Garden of Love. Continue to Chashme Shahi and its landscaped gardens, then Pari Mahal for panoramic views of the city and lake. Explore Hazratbal Shrine, subject to visitor access, and return to the hotel for leisure time.
Drive to Gulmarg, famous for its alpine meadows, with views of pine forests and mountain peaks. Visit the Gulmarg Golf Course and Maharani Temple, and take the Gulmarg Gondola if you wish and it is operating. Enjoy seasonal snow activities or meadow walks, then return to Srinagar in the evening.
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, enjoying scenic views along the route. Visit the Awantipora ruins, time permitting. Explore Pahalgam town and the Lidder River, enjoy the peaceful surroundings and mountain scenery, then check in to the hotel and relax.
Visit Betaab Valley, famous for its lush landscapes, and Aru Valley for stunning mountain views. Visit Chandanwari, subject to road and seasonal access, and enjoy optional pony rides or local activities. Return to Srinagar in the evening and check in to your hotel or houseboat.
Drive to Sonamarg, the Meadow of Gold, with views of the Sindh River and the surrounding mountains. Visit Thajiwas Glacier if it is accessible, enjoy optional pony rides or local sightseeing, and take photographs of the Himalayan scenery. Return to Srinagar for the night.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to Srinagar Airport. Depart with wonderful memories of Kashmir.
